Synopsis

In a Northern Ontario mining town, Davey finds himself disquiet in the beginning of his graduating year. Dogged by disappointments, tensions, and domestic tragedy—failed relationships, harassments, parental strife, his mother's piety—he lives in cycles of detachment and escape from the world he's only known as suffocating, endlessly oppressive. But, beginning and around the promise to finally fight his high school oppressor, a series of trepidations demand his digging in, the widening of self, a cumulative stance against the repeating pattern of the world and life, erupting into rising successions of ferocity, bloodshed, and violence.
